Center of Antimicrobial Biomaterial Innovation-Southeast Asia (CABI-SEA) focuses on developing novel antimicrobial biomaterials for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases with an emphasis on natural product research. The goal of CABI-SEA is to be a sustainable research center to produce innovative antimicrobial biomaterials and build research collaboration networks with other research institutes including public and private sectors both nationally and internationally in order to translate basic research to commercialization. CABI-SEA has also aimed at developing human resources for working in multidisciplinary fields through research and development with government agencies and private companies.
